Black Brant III For Sale

Daryl,

Would you please provide some current detail photos of your rig? I am a 2500 mile round trip away, and photos will be my only way to determine if I should make the trip. When were the photos in your ad taken? Any areas of wear or concern that if you were the buyer, you would want to be aware of?

Does the blind drop open/down to shoot? Shoot while seated? Dog door or window for marking birds? Overhead cover or open? Is the framework hinged for trailering? Hard cover, soft cover, or no cover for trailering and /or when stopped/parked in route to/from hunting location ? Navigation lights, LED or incandescent?

Trailer brand, model and year? Trailer lights LED or incandescent? Tires, years in service? Tread condition? Bearings, original? service history? Seals, condition? Bearing buddie type protection or plain hub cap?

Number of hours currently on the engine? Start battery included? If so, brand, size, years in service? Any current or past damage to the skeg or lower unit? Service history on the water pump? Can you provide a video link of your engine starting and running? What GPS speed do you get with what size of load? What is the minimum speed it takes to still be up on plane? What pitch prop? Pitch of the spare prop?

I could just give you a call, but I wear hearing aids and sometimes do not do well in a phone conversation. Also written questions and answers make it easier to reference back and review during the decision making process. You can email me (click on my name for my profile) or send a PM but please provide a response to all questions. Thanks

Hello Dave,

Give me a couple of days to get some detail photos. The boat is in my shed and needs to be pulled out and cleaned up. Has not been used since 2014. Weather around here is going to be crappy. The motor can not have more than 10 hrs on it. Just got done with the break in. Bought new in 2010 for $2966.94. Will get you the prop pitch. I have all paperwork. Boat is in excellent condition and has probably been hunted no more than a dozen times. No damage on anything. Trailer is a 2003 EZ Loader Model EZWB 12-14. Tires are like new and I have a spare tire. I installed guide on posts. Makes it easier to load. It does have a start battery that I trickle charge once in a while. Located in front. Not sure how fast it goes but seems to have plenty of power with the 25 hp. The blind is open on top and you stand up to shoot. It has posts that plug in and sides roll up. I have almost new grass that hangs on the outside. There is no cover for the boat when trailering. Has always been stored inside.

Hello Dave,

I got the boat out and cleaned it up. Took some photos. Engine started and ran good. The spare prop is a SOLAS 9.9x11. Everything in the photos go with the boat. Enough grass to go around blind and a pc. for the front. The trailer hubs are Reliable oil bath. Switches: master with indicator light, bilge pump, running lights, LED interior lights.

Daryl

PS: Can I send more info, pictures and engine run video to your email that is on file?
