Hate to bring his up again but....

So after rehashing the issue of painting gas tanks, are there restrictions on painting LP tanks? I have the hunter version of the buddy heater (camo version) and thought about bringing it out duck hunting with me. I have a smaller tank and it is white. I thought about painting it but never did. Any laws against doing this or any common sense reasons why this would be a bad idea?

The 1 lb cylinders you buy are green.........paint that sucker up.

What states do y'all live in where you worry about painting gas tanks and propane tanks? Just curious. (I live in South Carolina, hunt mostly in S. Louisiana, and we just do beforehand and, rarely I might add, ask for forgiveness versus ask for permission. LOL)

Mark,
There are restrictions on the color of paint. They can be painted with light colored paint. Maybe you can do a camo of tans and grays to get your effect.

You haven't been to MN(where Mark lives) have you? [;)]

I had a MN game warden chastise me once because I had more than one fishing rod along. His reasoning was that if you can only use one at a time that's all you needed to have anywhere near you.

I have buddies that run 22 rods spider rigging for crappie. That poor GW's head would explode if he saw this. hahahaha

Jeees, for all the crap NY takes about rules and regulations, we could technically have one guy in the blind with two shotguns.

I don't know what that guys issue was but he was the type that would know the tank laws.
I've met some very nice wardens in MN but there are others.

The bass anglers I know in MN all have 6 to 10 rigged rods on the decks of their boats at all times, I have no idea how he dealt with that.

Good morning, Mc~

Actually, there is no limit on the number of shotguns. I think 22 shot guns in a 12-foot gunning boat would make perfect sense - what could possibly go wrong? - as long as all had non-toxic shot and none had single projectiles....

Of course, in my gunning circle, we also prohibit any shells longer than 2-3/4 inches....

Isn't that somethin'? And they you'll hear from someone from somewhere who will tell you that in their state they have to register their oars and carry no more than 6 shells, and no hunting on Sundays...... so weird...
