Sneak box rig

when I rig for open water divers I use my larger boat and put out about 90 B.B.,cans and bufflehead.
I also have a 12 foot Higbee style B.B. sneak box. I hunt alone without a dog and like to use it, especially in the evening, to shoot hidden along the shore.
My question is how many and what species do you carry in your sneak box. I like to put out a half dozen puddle ducks, a half dozen bufflehead, four geese and the rest broadbill. Two dozen broadbill on individual lines. That is about the limit of room in the boat.
The geese are more for overall visibility but they do take up a lot of room. I could carry more decoys if I put them in a decoy bag and placed it on the bow. I could also leave the geese home and that would make more room. Don’t like the idea of overloading the boat with the bag on the bow.

Depends what you have most of. Traditionally "here" on the salt meadows, you'd set 7 or 11 black ducks, a few geese, or maybe brant, and maybe a couple of whatever you got most of. I never found large rigs necessary to shoot anything that was looking for company. YMMV

Bob, you 1st have to determined what birds are most prevalent in the area you are hunting. it sounds to me you are hunting with to much of a mixed bag.then choose those decoys the most , i think you would be more successful.
