ARG furnace

So.. for the past 7 years, I have used a 12v Atwood RV furnace to heat my man cave. The control board has been acting weird for the last 3-4 . It was a remanufactured unit when I got it. I go fed up, and purchased a new Suburban P-40 park model, ducted furnace.

BTW- since the new one arrived, the old one has been working great...

I got the new one all hooked up and installed... around noon today... and turned it on... GOSH DARN IT!!!! The blower fan is grinding... something is rubbing. I can't see where...

I do not what to re-hook up the old one.. but I don't think I have a choice.

Bummer! I know those RV furnaces are plagues by board problems. I've thought about buying a backup for mine, but haven't.

Phil,
Quality control, at times anymore, seems to be nonexistent. One should not have to check a brand new unit for function before installing it. I feel your pain.

I'd offer to come help, but you would probably take me up on that offer. [w00t] Sorry bud, you're on your own.

Glad to hear you got a new furnace. I remember there were very poor working conditions last winter, OSHA was almost called. How much epoxy is left on the door handles? [w00t]

Whatever... I thought you were from MN. The furnace kept the studio nice and warm last winter... The garage... on the other hand... no furnace and chilly.

Most of the epoxy that you left on the door handles is still there!

Andrew,

In case you haven't noticed, Phil is a known rule breaker.

This is a family site. I can't say what I think of OSHA. .. And what would you know about ... WORKING???? [w00t][whistle]
