I have spear gear, fishing gear, kayaks, carving stuff, waders. You know the important stuff

Were hoping to get well into Iowa today. Hopefully the weather cooperates. Now only 44ish hours of driving till we get there

If we stop anywhere ill take pictures

Chris,
Don't plan on using any (well most of) that gear here in Iowa today. Current temp is 5 degrees with a 21 MPH wind and 1-2 inches of fresh snow. Snow that probably is blowing around and making your driving not pleasant for you. Stay safe and make rest stops as needed.

What time you driving by here today?

Good luck and safe driving. Keep sharp and enjoy the scenery.

You eaten at a Culver’s? If not, get a butter burger and a side of fried cheese curds. Have to get it done oh, in, I’ll, is if you are going to do it.

No road food for us, we are still eating our leftovers. Were almost into Iowa, wind here is cranking. Lots of geese in Illinois and Indiana but a lot of crashed 18 wheelers in Pennsylvania and Ohio. We hope to keep cruising all night.

Push past that nasty weather and into the thaw that is building-in from the west!

Culver's...the frequent destination of most of America's Type-II diabetics!

That seems to be about a warm day around here anymore. My advice going All Points West till you cross the Rockies if you hit bad weather pullover do not try pushing through. Storms Get Wicked and they will kill you

In 1992 when I moved west I got stuck in Laramie and in Ontario, Oregon by winter storms closing the highways. Icy roads and windy weather means take a weather day and enjoy the local scene.

We made it to Tacoma a short while ago. It feels so good not to be crammed into a car right now. We got very lucky with the weather and easy travels. The second half of wyoming to the end of our trip was spectacular. This country is absolutely unbelievable. I would highly recomend the drive. Just dont cram it into 2.5 days.

It was an awsome adventure and now we will spend more time out of the car exploring.

Glad you made it safe and enjoyed your drive! Just so everyone knows Chris is a good dude that helped me out tremendously with picking up and delivering a boat for a great adventure for next season! Thanks again man!
