Time to re-introduce myself.

Greetings everyone!

I'm a longtime member that has been absent for quite awhile, so I thought it was time to re-introduce myself. I signed up with DHBP back in March of 2000, was a semi-regular poster, everyday reader of the forum for quite a few years. In 2010 I went through a rather nasty divorce and in the process I kind of fell out of the habit of visiting and participating on an almost daily basis. In my lurking i still see some of the old names from way back when and a whole bunch of new ones. It's time to come home and be active again, I've missed this place.

When I dropped out I had a Golden Retriever, Moose, who was an absolute machine out in the marsh and an absolute terror to the local pheasant population. Sadly he passed in October of 2014

My current pack is a big energetic chocolate lab named Grizz. He can be a big pain in the ass at times but I don't know what I would do with out him.

Anyway I thought I should get back to the active ranks and start participating again! Looking forward to getting back into the hunting groove and the DHBP family.

Divorce and loosing a good dog/best friend, can take the wind out of a guys sails.

Waterfowling always welcomes you back.

Been there and done that.. Life Happens. Glad to see you are back on the path to being you. When I was "lost" getting back to my roots was a strong light outta some darkness. Look forward to seeing your contributions.

Not sure, without looking at my status, when I joined but I do know this, it wasn't soon enough! Great forum IMO and the only one that I frequent on a regular basis.
