Yes thats the front compartment after removing the flotation foam that was completely saturated all that water was left over.
 
Josh, I was scanning the posts and came across this. Sorry to see the boat was farther down the drain but than I/we had thought!! Decent design but poor craftsmanship I suppose. I?ll be at the Tuckerton show next weekend with my sneakbox, come stop by
 
Josh, if you're seriously looking to build a bigger boat similar to this, have I got a deal for you! I have a, (I believe), full set of plans for a 16' Devin Scaup. They were given to me by Capt. Jack Passie a few years ago. At the time, I had every intention of building her, but things happened beyond my control which eventually squelched that idea. I'd be willing to "pay it forward" IF, you were to really use them.

It's a lot of work, but I have a boat I built from scratch, a Zack Taylor Widgeon, and I'll tell you, there is no telling how much satisfaction you will get out of hunting out of a boat you built with your own hands.

Dan you had no idea i didn't either till i had the bow compartment torn apart no big deal see you at the show I will be attending Sunday, If anyone else will be there i will have my german shepherd with me I'm not sure i have met anyone else in person other than Dan but that how you can recognize me he kinda sticks out at the decoy show.
