Tuckerton Seaport

Agreed Jeff, a great place to gain a sense of the history of the local baymen and a place I wish I could visit more often. I know a few forum members are involved there. My Dad Fred who taught me hunting, fishing and decoy carving is a volunteer demonstrator there. My favorite place is the storage sheds where accumulated sneakboxes are kept on racks for preservation. You might have to ask someone permission to check them out, but there's some great local builders represented in there. Number 35, a '43 Van Sant was my first about 30 years ago.View attachment 528.JPG

I have been in the boat building place and met the Italian guy who was building a sneak box with a sail.Really cool to see. Would love to build one and learn how to use it.
