I'm looking for a mushroom anchor mold of around 12 oz. I have an 8 oz mold but want something bigger for tidal areas and large goose decoys I figured close to 12 oz would be good.

Thank you Mike

The old Tangle Free weights work just fine for Teal.

I never had a need for mushroom style weights forTeal, in the thin water areas I hunt.

I,ve used weights poured in muffin tins w/bent to go over head heavy wire loops in strong currents and ice flow infested water and never had them pull. Poured till full is probably more than 12 oz. I only poured 3/4 full for geese. Actually watched the decoys turn fairly large broken ice sheets just hopeing the tanglefree line they were rigged with wouldn,t break. Decoy Line length is the determining factor.

The Tangle Free plastic decoy line was worthless, in my experience.

Their decoy weights were the salvation, when used with quality decoy line.

I,ve had good luck w/ the tangle free green. Years ago I had bought some black that was made by another manufacture that was junk. Starting breaking after first year.
