I missed a couple of opportunities to get one of these on eBay. Model 59s were Herter's less expensive, hollow, hard plastic decoys from the 1950s. This excerpt is from the 1955 catalog:

The Model 50 decoys were and still are much more common.

I am just looking for a shelf rider - condition is not important, as long as the bird is complete and repairable. I believe "Model 59" is embossed on the bottom of the bird.
