Hi all,
I'm sadly selling my 12' wood and glass Barnegat style sneak boat. A great 1 man boat, but with 2 young boys I haven't found enough time to put it to enough use and when I do get the time I will likely need a bigger boat to bring a kid or two.
Built by Joe Bauer (S. NJ, Bay side) in 1996. I bought it from his son Charlie in 2012. Displacement style hull, hides very well (I'm 6'4" 260lbs and hunt it layout style), can transport hunter, a couple dozen decoys, and dog. Pretty light so floats high and can be moved onto marsh or bank by one reasonably strong person.Has a 10 year old Nissan 9.9hp with less than 100 hours on it. Boat is very sound, just some cosmetic paint flakes and such, maybe a few snaps that should be replaced on the dodger sooner rather than later. I'm selling it pretty much turn key, grass and go.
In NE Massachusetts, asking 3,000.

canvas dodger and frame
oar locks and oars
trailer
cockpit cover
port stern stool rack
cut out green snow fence for grassing
anchor and line
boat box with spare parts, filters, plugs, etc

Transom saver motor support for trailering
The only real repair I have made is to the motor board. A small piece added to the top by the previous owner, I assume to raise the motor height, became loose. I removed, dried, filled original screw holes with dowels, and then put it back on with screws and 5200. Has functioned perfectly in the 4 years since. See close-up pic at end.
