ice is in season is out!

You will love the Hoefgen, I have had one a long time. Don't take it out in ice - it will work once if you know what I mean.

Mark, yeah Kevlar and ice don't mix, nice boat, kind of noisy, light easy to handle, wind bothers it a bit, holds a big load, deep if its rough out. I have a kidney boat co. green bay cedar skiff and a Thompson clear pine skiff. they are heavy but are fiber glassed and can take a beating. I use them for ice breaking. good to have choices!

Just loaded it up with some burlaps and it will ride low in the water. LOL For some of you that don't know Frank he is the best burlapper I have ever seen, you can't find a seam on his decoys!

That's a Lund ducker! That boat is fun but I'm sure the Jon boat is great to. Heck any purpose built boat for ducks is sweet.

Marsh is freezing and possibly last hunt. Had our mallards and this guy came in to visit. He stayed in the LZ black duck decoys in the same spot for 30 min. When a buddy came in, landed on the ice, he flew about 10 yards to hang out. Standing, talking never bothered him. Funny.View attachment IMG_3703.jpg
