Question for the Duck boss (and similar style boats) owners that have flapper boards

This is my first season with my duck boss 13 and so far am absolutely loving it but have one major issue. The stern has no flapper board and therefore the birds have an unobstructed view into the boat when circling around and I feel as if I'm sitting there naked when they come around that side. Does anyone have something they use to block that hole while maintaining the ability to quickly and easily use the flapper boards?

I don't use a rear cover on my Schellinger but friends with duck bosses and another buddy with a high box use bungees with a piece of netting that they either tie raffia or salt hay on. I have been busted a few times in the exact situation you describe though.

I made a motor cover for mine out of the synthetic grass. I made it bushy enough to help fill the void

Craig, if they tie something between the 2 boards how do they knock them over to shoot?

Burlap works for me. Cabelas has a nylon camo that you can jay on your lap. I usually pick up stuff off the beach and drop on or next to the boat...

On the duck boss they shoot over the boards, on the roy boat he has a quick release on one side so it slides out when the flapper drops.
