My Estuary grassed up

Well, I used grass mats this year, I'm going to give salt grass a try next season, as Saturday is the last day of our late season on the coast. I've learned a lot this year from all the fine people here, and on my own the hard way. I've got a lot to learn, but I'm feeling competent, and even successful at times. This year I've taken a new approach to waterfowl hunting in the marsh, and I love it.
The water is too deep and too soft of a bottom to get a picture with the Estuary in front of the grass.View attachment DSCN6316.JPGView attachment DSCN6322.JPGView attachment DSCN6323.JPG

Beautiful job, Mike!

You certainly covered every visible square inch. Especially good hide on the OB.

BTW: If that mud too sticky, you'll need to get a dronre for those Black Duck's-eye-view photos.....

All the best,

SJS

An easy grass mat cover for an outboard can be made by folding the mat in half and zip-tying along the top edge to make what might be called 1/2 of an envelope. Easy to open and lay on the motor and pulls right off when you need to go ...

I roll the top of the mat under when adding zip ties so the grass stands up near the seam.
