Hi, hello from Coastal NC. After first browsing (OK--lurking) this forum a couple months ago I finally joined up. It is refreshing to see a forum where members are so polite and keep sportsmanlike behavior that seems all too lost these days.

Welcome aboard Dave. Lots of very talented people on this site and if you pay attention you just might learn a thing or two . Now just to warn you water fowling all year long is quite the addiction! Good luck with your future projects.

All for the love of waterfowling. Enjoy this site.

When you think of it, our early teal season is just around the corner. If we have that last full week in September this year, the opener would be on 9-21-19. That is only 194 days away.

It is time to toss bumpers for those pups who would rather retrieve than eat.

This is one of the low flow ditches that I have hunted in the past. Took this picture on March 7th last week. In the mix of things I saw mallards, Mexican ducks, cinnamon teal, gadwall, and baldpates.

Welcome to the family Dave, Glad to see another fellow Carolina fella on here

Welcome Dave. This is a great place. Respect is a good word to describe our relationships.

I am moving to the Raleigh area in July from Hilton Head.

It will be interesting to learn all the NC guys on this page.

Larry

Compared to other sites I participate in, guys on this site are well-behaved, constructive and don't engage in petty/pointless debate. Maybe it's because members use mostly real names vs. made-up USERID's? Thanks...

Thanks Larry. I lived in Raleigh for 20 years before moving to NC Coast. Both places are good areas to live. Raleigh definitely has better healthcare and less worries about hurricanes...
