Couple years ago I had a 12 mile commute to work. I can now walk to work or take the short 7 block drive in my truck. Using new tool box and a different set of tools now days also. I must be doing OK, got a bonus today.

She measured 32 inches and weighed 8lbs. I caught her on a Lindy rig, plain hook tipped with a minnow.

[size 4] And that's why we hire tree service to take care of the secondary tasks whilst we attend to the weighty issues [;)]

Bob,
I still on rare occasion climb a tree now and then. I just don't move around in them as quickly as I used to. I did get rid of my tree climbing spikes and sometimes wonder why. Must have been short on cash at the time.

A few years back, my neighbor couldn't believe what she saw, when I used my self climber style deer hunting stand, as a platform to top out a tree in my backyard. Dropped the top neatly between my dog kennel and her fence. I will admit, I was glad I was secured and could lean back against a safety harness. The part of the tree still standing, bucked a time or two, when the top came out of it.

Dave,

Nice pike!

You all ballsier then me! I would using a climbing treestand to top a tree. Of course, I always like to keep my feet on the ground whenever possible.

Be safe in the woods and on the water,

Tom

Nice catch! I'm "Jonesing" for some fresh fish...!

I just walk behind the TU folks, picking up the pike they flip-out onto the bank!

Which Saturday of your work week did you catch your northern? Any other tedious jobs such as this one on the horizon for you, Dave?

Al,
Not sure, they kind of all run together. Just finished up a very important job that called for some of those renewed skills, this morning. Can't go fishing with out the proper supplies on hand, especially when taking my grandson.
