A fun day on the stream.

A fun day on the stream.
Was able to get a couple hours on the stream despite wind and cold. #20 Hare's Ear bead head and about a dozen nice trout. Not much in the way of trout fishing in Ohio but the aquafor's in north central do provide some acceptable sport.

Now that is what I call FUN.

Small flies/nymphs, and beautiful fish.

Ya did GOOD.

Thanks for the post.

I'll be leaving the house about noon to go trout lookin' & fly fishing.

Best regards
Vince

A number 20,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, your eyes must be better than mine. Looks like the trout had no trouble seeing a #20. Do you tie your own?

Glad you had a fun day, thanks for sharing.

Were you at the Trout club that is fed by a spring and flows into Erie?
Had the chance to visit once.
Thanks

I was at Rockwell Springs. The other club is Castalia. The later's water originates from the "Blue Hole" we visited in grade school trips.
