TDB-17' Classic Maine built boat owners...
I have a favor to ask. Olsen Marine, current owner of the The Duck Boat Company built a mold off of Dean Clark's 1991 TDB-17' classic, while on loan to enable them to replace lost, stolen or destroyed storage covers on these veteran duckboat hulls. They also made patterns off his classic blind panels to replace old and worn-out blinds.

Apparently, there is a fair amount of boat-to-boat variance in the cockpit coaming outside edge opening, rendering their mold semi-worthless as a production tool. The issue is in the forward section of the boat up in the first three to four feet up near the bow. If you would be willing, I am trying to compile a list of current owner measurements, taken at one foot intervals off the cockpit centerline on the width of the outside coaming edge to submit to them to adjust their mold configuration.

For my hull: one foot--32", two foot-20 1/8", three foot-461/2", four foot-54 1/4"

Thank you!

I can't help on measurements but yours seam to be a bit skewed. 32, 20, 46, 54 The 20 in. seams a bit out of place.

You're right, Tom, I didn't double it to 40 1/4". Never caught it because no one ever came forward to add theirs.
