I purchased the boat from a naval architect in Virginia Beach, VA. It was his first woodworking build in retirement. He was not a hunter, so after completion had no use for it. Shortly after I purchased it, I moved inland, where its heavy displacement hull is not the most practical for gunning the shallow marshes of Kansas. The boat has never been in water and been stored inside the last 10+years. I broke the keel in transport but is easy fix. The spar varnish is flaking off, so it will need to be sanded and re-coated or fiberglass. There is also some cracking and joints opening from dry-storage in Kansas. I need room and would rather see it being used than sitting dryland. It is made of Atlantic white cedar. The strips are bead and cove joined with gorilla glue and brass screws. I do have Virginia title for the boat. Attached are the plans he used to build. First to make a small donation to this page ( and comes picks it up, it yours. Boat is in Great Bend, Ks near Cheyenne Bottoms
