Is most of the lumber, 2x whatever, dried in most lumberyards in Ohio. Here unless it is a 8' 2x4 or 2x6 most is green because the mills are close enough that drying the wood only becomes cost effective once it has to transported far enough because of the weight savings. Don't know if it's true, but it's what I told by a guy who sold lumber about 10 years ago.
