Good morning, All~

Here are a few (delinquent on my part) Mallard rehabs from the Bench of George Williams:

Paint looks good - but some tail wear.....( toenails look OK, though....)

Thanks, Steve-Best time to use those shorebird stool is when the horseshoe crabs come ashore to mate. PROTEIN, ya know. Good looking bunch!

Digging that can head Patrick. Cool seeing your style showing up more and more in your carvings.

Steve, arter looking at the before and afters on those mallard rehabs, I am still in awe of how well Golden Matte holds up, even after over twenty years of harsh treatment. The owner was happy with the rehabs. I did leave a note on one bottom--Take better care of your stuff as I may not be around in another 20 years!
Not sure the bodies would have held up if they were not Wiley!
Thanks again for the posting.

Perky little devils, they are! Holl I suspect you have somewhere to carry them in to attract squealers/[;)]

Steve , I like that black belly. We had a good flight of them this spring. Their calls are so distinctive and melodic. One of my favorite shorebirds.

Good morning all,

Benp - I envy your workspace.

This one just came off of the paint bench after a scare - my 4 year old grandson discovered brushes, paint and the decoy and started "painting" while I was gone fishing. Fortunately, the brush was clean and the paint he found was my water cup.

Hollow cedar and bass painted with Traditions, self righting.

Joel
