Wilderness Systems Chesapeake Kayak. Pics added, SOLD

Damn! I had one years ago, and traded it away for a Sportpal set up when I started having a family.... wish I never sold it many times. I have looked for one off and on for years. Don't really have a need but always loved it. Bought it same time John Bourbon bought his Pokeboat. This was cheaper, a little heavier, but better finished in my opinion. We would load them up and drag them across a field into the marsh. Had to add some glass to the stern/keel on mine as I wore it through. I think I paid $600 for it 30 years ago or more! Good deal here for sure. Mine was camo on topside only, real early model I think.

Thanks Dave. It paddles very nice but like John, I always use my poke boat. I can put it on top of the Devlin if you'd like...See you next week.

Darn - a bit of a drive from MInnesota. I currently have the Kevlar poke boat and like everything about it except it?s lack of sturdiness. I know that you boat is pretty much the same but has the sturdiness I would prefer. Would have bought it off you if only we were closer together. I am going. Owners near Maine; you coming anywhere near MN?

Nice looking boat

Dave makes some valid points on this boat's quality. I have done several "renovations" on my Poke Boat and still view this hull to be of better quality.

Troy, can you sit on the back deck area without it buckling as you "work" your leg in under the foredeck to get in? I'm 6'-3" and this is a necessity, particularly with the spray skirt attached, on my Poke Boat, which eventually cracked the resin/cloth ply in one spot that required extensive repairs to strengthen it.
