Population is still up but a big drop in redheads and scaup went down too. Strange given how good habitat conditions were.

We experienced a near complete disappearance of redheads last year...as you state, odd considering the nesting conditions as well as this bird's nest parasite behavior. I recall that Pat Gregory said it was the same at Delta Marsh and in southern Green Bay waters as well.
