Alumacraft Retriever - MN

I am selling my recently restored, and extremely rare 1958 Alumacraft Retriever. There were only 205 made.
This is an open deck version of their popular Ducker model and shares the same hull design.
This was stripped down from a previous owner's paint job, sandblasted, one small square patch and several rivets were professionally welded. The hull is in good shape with no major dings, or dents, just minor imperfections.
The boat was then primed and then painted in the closest color I could find to match the factory original. The color is Dead Marsh Grass - Parkers Duck Boat Paint, the vintage Alumacraft logos were stenciled on in OD Green.
There are 3 wooden bench seats that were repaired/refinished - someone had mounted swivel seats on two of them, and foam replaced for safety if capsized
This boat has a fantail and is rated for a 3HP motor.
All original hardware was used when re-assembled where possible. The wood used on the transom is marine grade plywood, patterned off the original pieces that had rotted.
This past weekend we did test it for leaks and there are none, I also swamped it and checked to see if I could get it to sink, it stays afloat. It is very stable and easy to maneuver. We use it like a Kayak with Kayak paddles.
You could also use it like a canoe.
The boat includes a set of wooden oars.
The shotgun and cushions are not included, they are not for sale.
Other pictures are available.
$4000 OBO

Thanks for looking

John
