Just wanted to share the memorial to Tom that is in place at the Oakdale Gun Club - a place Tom cherished and a place where he taught firearm safety classes for many years. The gift from the DBHF went towards this bench and statue, a statue that looks just like Tom and Debs' dog Booker.

I saw Deb earlier today and she is doing well. Slowly moving forward but one can tell it is difficult to do so.

I am also asking for some help from this group. Deb has Tom's old pole boat and his old pickup camper she wants to sell. I'll be placing an ad in the classified section shortly. Please stop over there and take a look. I know the camper holds many memories for Deb but it is time to let it go. She told me the story of the two of them taking a 5 week road trip to Alaska in that camper. Had the best time of their lives.

Anyway, she wanted to thank this group for the donation and wanted to let all know it went towards making many people happy at the gun club.

Very nice tribute to Tom. Although I never met him in the flesh, we enjoyed many fine exchanges here on the site.

I?ve been away for sometime and didn?t realize Tom had passed, I?m sorry for your loss.
 
I do, and I am a member, but I have not seen that memorial yet, where is it, over at the trap range?
My youngest did his hunter safety there a couple of years ago.
