Cover Boat material?

Gents;
good evening!
I just completed building a cover boat blind on my 20 footer.
it's all 3/4" square tube. I covered the frame with chicken wire, then over that with palm(tiki) material.
the tiki material is very brown, so looking to break it up with green/brown.
We hunt in lakes that have weed beds,etc.
anyone have experience with cover boats & how to grass them up?
thank you in advance!

If your grassing you attached is similar to fastgrass you can hit it with some rustoleum camo spray paint in o.d green & mud brown. Another good way to help it blend is to mud it heavily. Those sheets need to weather to blend in in a lot of backgrounds. You can always zip tie some natural vegetation over it thru chicken wire . A few well placed cedar clipping may be what would help it. As they turn colors from drying out they,ll blend in .

Take some clippers and bungees and clip and bungee some of the local brush over fast grass if the paint doesn,t do the trick. If your shooting divers probably wont matter, Canadian puddlers shouldn,t be to educated yet either. You,ll know if they start flareing off boat blind.

there's places in Canada for us to get some cedar clippings, so we'll try that if needed.
thanks so much for the feedback!
good hunting!
