Is there a paint out there in a quart size or less that's a good match for black duck black? I mixed up some burnt umber and some ultramarine blue to make a swatch but Home Depot and Sherwin Williams can't match it. Theirs comes out with a red/purple hue. Any suggestions?

Parkers sells it in quarts. Oil base.Their site will give you product #. Steve Sanfords online tutorials has the Berr paint number for latex. Body - Espresso Beans PPU-5-1.

The face (and some body details) are Mocha Latte.


The Drake's bill is Curry Powder


The Hen's bill is Gingko Tree.


Get these 3 colors in sample size (8-oz) jars.

If using acrylics, two parts burnt umber to one part ultramarine blue. You might try with oil, also[;)]
