What would be the best artificial grass to use on a Barnagat Bay Sneak Box with grassing rails?

I,ve not seen any artfical grass that could be stuffed under grassing rails. I like raffia grass but you,ll need to cut some plastic poultry netting . Zip tie grass to that in small bundles and then attach the netting to boat. It could be zip tied to grassing rails but simplest way is to run a stretch cord completely around cockpit combing and across top & rear deck and attach netting to that with zip ties. Can easily be removed after season and stored out of weather and reused for several years that way. J.stern is the cheapest place to get it but you have to have a 25 lb. minimum order.

If you purchase plastic net and ty wrap to grass rails, you can tie artificial grass with twine or ty wraps. I use grasses where I shoot. Spartina is the most prevelent here. Cabela also sells nylon camo cloth...

I guess what you are saying, to use the grassing rails, real native grass would work best? Maybe long stemed straw?

I myself would use local grasses. If you go to other areas you can fill in with local grass or drift wood...
