Big waves and forest treats

There were king tides and a big storm on the coast this weekend, no diving but quite the show!

Did some more scouting, found lots of bills, scoters, buffies, widgeon, and sprig. A few mallards and golden eyes were around as well. A small number of fully plumed green wingers were in the way back of flooded marshes too. But I was happy to see this guy. There were more around but this was such a cool shot.

Moved slightly inland to try our luck in the woods found one small hedgehog and about 2 pounds of yellow foots. I made a nice big frittata!

Very cool Chris. Your birds went hunting on Cape Cod this past weekend and acquitted themselves well ( busted one of the greenheads though).
