V board patterns

Hoping someone is willing to share a few patterns for v boards. I finished monkeying around with the boat, restored the side console, touched up paint, ripped out seats for foldables, and removed the remaining old "duck wrangler" letters that were falling off with a heat gun. Don't worry, I put a new name on the boat "Ducking Around." Oh, and DMV finally got my registration to me... 6 weeks later.

In true spirit of the name, and to keep my sanity while working from home, I was hoping someone could share patterns for v boards for use in LIS: particularly squaw, bluebills, or scoter.

Are V boards the same as Y boards (having a brain fart here)? If so, there is a pretty good post in the carvers corner on how to make Y boards

If you do a search using "V boards" (including the quotes) you might find some more info about V boards from people who made them here....I saw about 150 hits in the search results using "V boards"

As far as patterns, I'd look for decoy side view patterns that you like and make the silhouettes from those patterns...or even blown up pictures of birds sitting on the water if you wanted just the overall pattern for making different head positions.

What I was looking for. Mostly the patterns themselves, the Y, V - whatever- found that easily enough. Saw you had some buddies, but was hoping someone else had a pattern either of wood or paper I could commandeer.

i recently was at a buddies house an saw some v boards on a shelf an i asked him what he was doin with them an he said his buddy that passed from cancer gave them to him an he told me to take them home an make some sets from these they are very nicely built all broadbill ill post pics when i can dig them up
