Assuming it doesn't get Corona cancelled who's coming? Steve Sanford reported he's reserved a booth. Who else is going to be there? I hope to meet a lot of folks from the site I've not met in person.

Eric

I've never been but would like to go. If the world has magically cured Covid by September I'll likely attend.

Good morning Eric et al~

Although I have indeed reserved my usual spot, I have pretty much decided to forego Tuckerton this year - because of Hurricane Covid. I have a lung condition that puts me in the high-risk group - and although the event is outdoors, I do not want to impose on my friends for lodging or expose myself to the numerous risks in traveling away from our very low-risk environment hereabouts.

I may opt for a down-and-back day trip on the Saturday. If I do, I may make an exception to my usual practice and actually turn my cellphone on - so I could arrange to meet up with others..... (in my view, cell phones are wonderful emergency devices but an unwelcome intrusion on a daily basis....)

Let's hope effective vaccines and treatments emerge soon.

All the best,

SJS

I will be there. Same spot as always, 16 years and running. I am right on the park beach in front of the big stage, adjacent to New Jersey waterfowlers pavilion.

I have word that the Show commission is determined to go on, unless they are forced to close by the governor.
At present New Jersey has one of the lowest transmission rates in the country. So unless a second wave hits, I am hoping that the show will go on.

Betcha that one is going to go by the panic wayside, like all other fowl related shows this year.[w00t]

I will be there if it happens. Who knows what will happen with this governor??? Philadelphia just cancelled everything outdoors, parades, marathons, 5k's etc. Our Governor currently has a quarantine for 14 days from approximately 36 other states. I don't know when that expires. Ive been home from work since March 16th. I work for the state and we don't have any time table for a return. Rumors are January. So I wont hold my breath the Governor wont close down the show. I hope I am wrong.

I will be there mostly because I am scheduled to pickup my Duck Invader that day. I don't see them cancelling it. It's an outdoor event.

Pretty much anyone from south of the mason dixon line eric. CT has it too. It?s based on current infection rates.

If it's like NY ya gotta stay in one place 14 days, and fill out a contact form. States on the list, and things change everyday.

By Sept. who knows what will happen?

Appreciate the info. I guess I'll probably pass this years. Sucks because I have three plane tickets to anywhere and can't use them. Two of the three expire Dec 1.

Eric

Eric,

"Anywhere" sounds really good now, and I mean really good.

Been cooped up WAY to long. I'm itchin' for a decoy/waterfowl show, or good hunting & fishing road trip.

Hope some how you get to use those plane tickets.

Strange days indeed...

I can think of a good number of "anywhere's" I would go!
Alaska
Maine
Yosemite
Finger Lakes of NY
