I'm trying to add to my plane collection and am missing these. Stanley, Bailey, or Bedrock brands will suffice. The 4 1/2 is 10" long and 2 3/8" wide, approximately. The 5 1/2 is 15" long and 2 3/8" wide, approximately. Also, if you have a 1 or 2 I'm looking for them as well.

Well I got lucky. After I posted this I went to a nearby antique store and the guy had a 4 1/2 with a cracked base. I bought it for $10. Got back to the shop and pulled out an old tool box of hand plane parts Jeff had and low and behold there was a 4 1/2 body and a disassembled 5 1/2 in there. I put them back together. They need a thorough cleaning and sharpening but can be made useable again. Not bad for $10.

This is probably not as cheap of an option as a flea market or antique store but if there is something specific you are looking for you can probably find it here https://www.woodwrightschool.com/the-tool-store . If you are familiar with Roy Underhill of the Woodwright Shop tv show then maybe you know that he has a school here in NC called The Woodwright School. This store is located upstairs above his school in a downtown store front. It is an amazing place to visit.

Thanks for that tip. I wish I lived closer so I could take a look in person. From the pictures it appears they have a substantial stock. There is a place in Maine called Liberty Tool (http://www.libertytoolco.com/) that is packed with old school used tools. Wish we had something like that around here.
