What is the value of a 14 TDB Classic. I bought the deck and hull from Tony Homer, He had modified it so I spent eight months taking it back to original. Thanks to the advise of Tom Ayers it turned out pretty good. Rebuilt the transom and probably went over board. Installed 3/8 marine plywood floor, covered with 8 0z cloth. Painted with gel coat and two layers of Lou Tishes paint. Have hunted it for the last four seasons. Plan to sell it because my brother who is 80 has such a hard time getting in and out of it.

William~

Very nice work!

I was interested to see your thoughts about ingress/egress. Although I have never owned one, I have been a guest on many occasions. Both the 14 and 17 can be very tough to board - and almost impossible from deeper waters. I hope to make some steps for my partner's TDB 17 before this coming season.

All the best,

SJS

Steve it is even tougher when your wearing waders. When I pull up to the launch if the wind is really blowing it is a chore to get out and control the boat. Having said that it is a great boat for two to hunt.
