Vintage Trolling Motor for BBSB

The below has popped up near me. I have a Barnegat bay Sneakbox in the queue and when I saw this motor thought it might compliment the boat and give me a way to get around the areas on the local WMAs that prohibit gas motors.

Anyone know much about these old trolling motors? A good match for a BBSB or too under powered? Were these early motors good or were they still figuring out trolling motor propulsion? I typically have to make 1/2 -3/4 mile run one way through flooded fields to get to my hunting destination.

Don't know much about them. But I will say old stuff was made to be serviced. So if you get it and there is a problem with something then I would bet that you could fix it.

It reminds me of the old bullet style electric mixers, used at soda fountains, and lunch counters to make milk shakes.

When those things cranked up they did the J-O-B, and everyone sitting at the counter new it.

As already stated a machine that can be fixed, if need be, by someone in the know.

Shoot Eric, just buy it and give it a try, worst case scenario is it isn't strong enough and you have a cool piece of history that will look great anywhere you put it.
