Thread for canvas work ?

I have only used Coats Brand Star ultra Dee which is a bonded polyester thread Side T 92.
I need to buy thread now and wondering if there is a better choice.
For some reason this thread is starting to get hard to find.
I am using a Salirite untrafeed style sewing machine. FYI it does not sew well with 138 thread.

Any suggestions on different threads that work well?

I'll have to check what I have purchased, but I know it is UV resistant, and I bought it from Sailrite. My Mom is able to use it on her fancy quilting machine. Will see her this weekend, and am taking her some canvas and webbing to work for me.

I bought my thread from salirite several years ago and back then they stated the coats was the best polyester for my machine.
It looks like the may have switched brands.

I use a number 21 as recommended to me by linhard sewing machine repair when my machine was in there for a tuneup.
The way I was told to size the needle is to take about a foot of thread and thread the needle. then pull the thread tight and turn you
hands from left to right to up and down. If the needle is the right size it will move up or down the thread.
That being said, sailrite has a chart for thread/material and the proper needle
