Early goose and first of fowl follies of 2020/21

I typically don't go out in the early goose season but Terrie and I had a couple hours before a work day last week and went to a tidal area that had been holding resident birds each time we fished this summer (and that was our only scouting process). Terrie did manage her first goose and Pearl starts the 2020/21 season with this career #1180th retrieve. Terrie also found out just how slippery tidal mud can be. Safe trips to all this season!

Thanks for the story and the very nice pictures, Troy. I sure did like seeing that shot of Pearl. What a wonderful retriever she turned out to be. I'm glad to know that Terrie was all right.
