Anyone have a source they have used and are happy with for Yamaha or aftermarket parts? I have both a 15hp and 25 hp 2 cycle Yamaha outboard. I do not have a Yamaha dealer close and will need some normal maintenance items. (seals, o-rings, gaskets, impeller)

Thanks

Sim Yamaha, order anything I need for my yamahas through them for years and anything for my VRods from their mercury sister site.

Thanks guys,

That gives me several options. I changed out the lower unit oil yesterday and the oil was a bit off color so I know I am getting some water in there. I'm try to keep up on maintenance before the lack of maintenance bites me in the butt.

The river levels have been and still are, exceptionally low this year. The amount of sand and gravel going thru the water pump and up against the prop shaft, has apparently put some wear on things. Not getting any external oil leakage so I suspect water pump seals are the source.

My vote goes to SimYamaha, great service and got parts to me in Canada very quickly. Called 5 dealers in my area nobody had any stock!

Also if you need a special tool these guys are great and stand behind their tools!

This is a very helpful thread as I have a new to me 30 hp Yammie on my Lund.

Thanks for the question Dave and for the response brothers.
