my boy is growing up

Joseph

I leave in the morning on a duck hunting trip with my son and it isn't the first one. Many hours logged over the years chasing ducks. You are correct, the time goes by really fast, but we are lucky to get so much uninterrupted quality time with our sons doing what we love to do.

Good morning, Joe - and Happy New Year!

Great photos! I first tagged along with my Dad at age 5 - and took him on his last hunts - when he was 86. And, yes, it all flies right on by. However, we lucky ones live our lives with many, many wonderful memories.

BTW: I like the way you hide those Goose blinds.

All the best,

SJS

I remember meeting a very young dog handler at the North Fork Preserve in the early 1990?s.....not much older than your son.....and Yes you have to wonder where has the time gone....I often think about the friendships that have been made through dogs and waterfowl.....but I can?t recall the name of the black Labrador that young dog handler was working that day....and yes that young dog handler has grown to be an old friend.

Joe,
Life sure does seem to jump into warp speed when you have kids. It seems like they are toddlers when you go to sleep and young adults when you wake up. Great picture of your son. It looks like you guys had a great day.

thanks Steve, hope a i can accumulate as many memories with my boy as you did with your father.
