Who made this boat?

Who made this boat?
New to duck hunting and this forum.
I purchased this boat from someone here on Long Island. Does anyone know anything about it?
Its 14ft long and about 4.5ft wide. Fiberglass over wood construction.

Thanks!

In short, everybody built that boat. I saw them all over Freeport as a kid and I know of a few in Babylon. I feel like I heard once that there were plans in Popular Mechanic many years ago or something like that. Did you happen to get that in Babylon? I think you can stand on the aft deck and pole them pretty well. Cool score, good luck.

Thanks Paul!
I bought it from a gentleman in Amityville. I am in Babylon though.

If its got roots in Amity, any one of a LOT of very cable guys could have built it. In general though, sooner or later all roads lead to Kethcum down that neck of the woods. John Gotch in Babylon had a few too.

Please post a photo of the side profile of the boat. Interested in seeing its lines.

Steve~

Sweet little vessel!

Any plywood - or planks?

If the latter, do the bottom planks run lengthwise or crosswise?

Any runners or skeg on her bottom?

I hope you'll bring her to SSWA Duckboat Show (Cedar Beach) next October.

In the meantime - send photos!

All the best,

Thanks Steve!
Here's a few more pictures. The boat contains plywood and a small skeg.
She needs a little work. I'm not as great of a woodworker as yourself but I'm pretty excited bout it.
