Season is winding down, and today was probably my last hunt. It was windy and cold and little to nothing was flying. So I'm sharing a pic of my handsome hunting buddy Shadow, just because I can, and he deserves it.

Great pics everyone! I'd love to see more Goldens in the field. My grandfather had a golden named Candace that he talked about until he passed away. Great dogs!

Huntindave, I remember years ago when you posted about Jack disappearing and losing his leg, and how great it was to see him retrieving ducks just a few months later. It looks like the two little guys are best buds!

Nothing eye related. Over the past couple years though she does throw up (sometimes over the gunnel, lol) in the boat most of the time now. Nothing too serious because I only feed her at night. I'm sure saltwater related but never occurred until the past couple years.

Roy Brewington, You found my soft spot, my first lab was a Chocolate girl and she too was the sweetest dog you ever met. Absolutely loved everyone. Man I miss that dog!
