NDR- Gun Control Bill - Congress - proposed

I'd say it's very appropriate as this bill is likely the "decoy" so we thank the government for not going further when it further restricts our right to bear arms. This bill is too absurd to pass as written but it may well be where negotiations start.

With zero cosponsors and imprecise language, I give it a less than zero chance of passing either the House or Senate

With the house, senate and presidency being controlled by very anti-gun thought processing folks we may see some very real restrictions coming our way.

Exactly, this is going no where, even in a House & Senate controlled by Democrats. Won't even make it out of committee

As others have said, it's a Hail Mary or just a soapbox bill. This is going to be the way for at least 2 years, hopefully not 4. Not to get political but even the majority of the sponsoring party won't let this fly.

My real fear is they somehow push through an online ammo sale ban.

The ammo sale ban would crush some of the big on-line retailer and put a hurting on others like Roger's for sure. Hopefully large taxes aren't imposed on ammo as well. It would make the price tag on shell's hurt a bit more. I tried to prepair for this and purchased my shotgun shells for next year on Nov. 5th. Felt bad for the UPS driver packing up 10 cases of shells.

One of the major direct-order shell companies already said there is a way around. Regardless, it's needless hassle in our lives. It's going to be interesting to see how these next several years pan out.

The issue is much bigger than the proposed HR127 of hi h I agree has a slim chance of going anywhere. Here is the issue. In States like mine (Minnesota) that are about as left leaning as they come, the Feds making the Hess proposals has emboldened our ?leaders? to propose major changes in the gun laws. At the State level it is easier to make changes. Luckily rural MN is very pro 2A but unfortunately the inner core cities is very liberal. We count in n the rural legislators only being concerned about their jobs and they know for certain they will be voted out should they pass any gun co from laws. Wont always be this way though.
