Working decoys, its the off season.

Its still winter up here in the north woods so I am taking advantage of the slower season to go through my Bluebill rig and clean them up and make repairs where needed. The great thing about these long lines of decoys is many of them are carved by people from this site. Its a combination of decoys I have carved over the years and also pairs of decoys from friends who carve. I thought as I go through them I would post a few pictures.

I appreciate the honest scars that decoys accumulate over years of service. This first one is a decoy of mine good thing it didn't have a glass eye.

This second one is a picture of Yukon Mikes drake in the front and I believe Tim Speights drake in the rear. ( I would need to flip it over to verify and its out in the garage)
Ill add more pictures as I go through the line and clean them up.

That first one is a dead duck for sure!

Doing any ice fishing??

Carl,
We were fishing at first ice for Walleye but once they moved deep away from the house we stopped. Looking forward to the ice going off the lake and catching some in May off the dock though.
