Rogers Sporting Goods - MO -wader blowout(maybe not)

I have dealt with Rogers over the years, mainly to buy ammo but other hunting supplies as well.
I am a regular customer, not that it should matter.
last week, they advertise a bid wader sale -I want to get their front zipper model.
the website isn't working, so I call into their sales.
The lady takes my order, tells me the waders I want will ship (and at the great pricing!).
I get the waders & open them up - guess what? no front zipper - wrong ones.
Not a big deal, so I call today & ask for return/replace.
Lady says: can only credit the item - can't give you the zipper - we are out.
well, at the time I ordered, you had them - so why can't you make it right at some point?
She says" I have a dying man,&, I don't need your shit".
hey -that's great customer service, isn't it!

so after getting the original CSR who took my order on the phone -
she made every excuse that she didn't sell me the zippers - I was wrong.

are you kidding me - tell the customer, who knows what they ordered - 'you were wrong'

be careful when you deal with this company - they are NOT about customer service!
 
I had nothing but good things from this company to say i called them on tuesday 3/2/21 cause no one has ammo ......... an if they do they will only sell you a certain amount. Mr.Rogers himself sold me 8 cases outt the 13 they had left in stock he didnt have to do that ? .. Maybe you caught her at a bad time who knows we all have our bad days but ill continue using them
 
I've bought a lot of stuff from Rogers, ammo and waders included. Always was satisfied, I have their website bookmarked.

I'm curious about this quote, if it means what I think it does maybe cut her some slack.

She says" I have a dying man,&, I don't need your shit".
 
i would agree i love shopping at rogers. Uploading my stupid pistol permit for CT was just a simple link, not place an order and wait 3 weeks for someone to panic and call me. they even accumulate you loyalty points without having to get a credit card with them. shipping always prompt. Probably just a bad day for whoever that was.
 
2 days they had 8 cases of ammo to my door in this ammo shortage .. pretty decent man an they didnt take advantage of me on price an shipped it free
 
Have bought a lot of stuff from Rogers over the years. Cases of shells, decoys, hunting clothes , even a extra pair of neophrene waders during blowout sale and never an issue and always fast accurate shipping. Have never had to deal with a customer service issue though.
