The Past Season

Well, have the grandchildren this weekend, they wanted to crappie fish, but were rained out Saturday. The wind switched out of the north and brought a front through. Woke them up this morning, "to cold pop". That was from the 5 year old. The 16 year old never raised her head. But I guess 55 degrees, a 15 mph north wind is cool for them. So I'm sitting on the couch with a cup of coffee watching the 5 year old play with army men and transformers, his sound affects are great.lol. In between the explosions I'm thinking of last years ND season. It was a good season, made some new friends and had a good time. Here's a couple pictures.View attachment 20210303_174849.jpgView attachment IMG_3391.jpgView attachment 20200921_091652.jpgView attachment 20201022_114136.jpgView attachment 20201006_101427.jpg

Some nice scenery, I've got to make the trip north one of these seasons.

We actually got our fishing for spanish macs last weekend, they were just turning on before this cold front dropped through.
Havent tried crappie fishing here yet, there is a county park east of me that is supposed to be great crappie & bream fishing. Might give it a shot later this spring.

Looks like a great season John. I didn't realize you could hunt swans in ND. Is it a permit/draw kind of thing?
