Black Brant 3 measurement

Hi Everyone,

I'm brand new to the site and this is my first post. I'd wanted to build a boat for a number of years so a year and a half ago I bought an 18ft duckhunter in need of what I thought would be some "minor" repairs. Given my less than mediocre carpentry skills I figured this would give me the confidence to build a boat. Long story short I spent 8 months rebuilding the boat and other than about 40% of the floor, the entire boat is brand new. However, I very much enjoyed the process so I thought it would be fun (and less aggravating) to build a boat from scratch. I bought plans for a BB3 and started drawing out the bulkheads / scarfing plywood a week ago. However my plans are lacking the measurement from the transom centerline to the bottom chine. I've reached out to the folks at Devlin a few times and haven't heard back for 5 days now. I'm really Jones-ing to get going on this so I'm hoping someone can help me out and send me that one dimension.

Thanks, Paul

Can't help you with the measurement but welcome to the site!!!!!

The set of plans I have show a "penciled in" dimension of 27 3/8 inches. Doing an actual measurement of the hull itself, chine to chine is 55 inches.
