I?m not dead...yet

Hiya Scott! Have wondered how you have been doing. Glad to see you are back for a quick check in.

The lures look great. Love the polka dotted one. Did you carve the lures too or are they blanks or just old lures in need of refurbishing?

Glad to see you checking in

Dani

Hey Dani! I thought about you and all the others here over the past year or so.

Hope everyone is safe and healthy.

Yeah, the lure painting just sorta happened. After a few months of quarantine I decided to teach myself how to use an airbrush and after a while they started looking ok (but some of those early ones had a lot of coats of paint on them)

No carving. I just buy the blanks, paint, add split rings, hooks and eyes

Haha...around here that polka dot lure pattern is called ?Wonderbread?

(Not sure why my post is full of question marks. It?s like that?s the only punctuation mark allowed)

Scott,

Always nice to have another hobby. Those lures look like they will catch fish. I will offer my services for testing and quality control. A half dozen of each would be a good start. [whistle]

I too like the wonderbread pattern. I have a couple Muskie lures in various shades (neon as well as original) which serve me well.

Hey Dave! I appreciate your willingness to step up to the challenge of quality control [;)]

I?ve actually been working on some musky lure ideas. I turned some white cedar bodies on my lathe, mostly old school body shapes that are just BIG, like most musky baits. If I ever get any painted , I will post pics here

Scott,
I think the question marks are a Mac thing.

You have to go back into your original post and edit it, replacing the question marks with the proper punctuation.
