What's on your workbench August 2021

Jode

They are your basic green poplar boards. Leaving them stacked where rain got to them for many years caused the surfaces to mildew. Once you plane the surface it is your garden variety poplar. Nothing cool like you mentioned.

Love the brant decoy!

That's a relief! I was envisioning all that black poplar being hidden in a drawer recess!

Patrick, beautiful work. I went to the local welding shop and picked up scrap aluminum T stock and made up a few. Steel is better, less vibrations.

Wow, what a beautiful mount. The backdrop with rope moulding is a nice touch to an exquisite dead mount. The feet look incredibly real. I can't even imagine the challenge and patience this took.

Bob,

Yer doing a wonderful job of keeping the Alexander Pope, and William Harnett thing going in the present day, and well into the future.

Two thumbs way up.

I look forward to what ya got cookin' next.

"Idle hands are the devils workshop."

Ya do a very good job at keeping him away. [;)]
