Lund Retriever Restoration

Just completed the restoration of my Lund Retriever just in time for the opener in a couple weeks. I picked this boat up early this spring and have been slowly working on it all summer. Took some time but so worth it and really like the way it turned out. I removed the added motor mount, wood oar locks and had to fabricate/replicate new oar locks to match the originals. It is very handy. It is only 11'4" long, 44" wide, 10" high and weighs about 55 pounds. Loaded with 500 pounds it drafted less than 2".
 
Wow! that looks brand new. Really, a nice job. thanks for sharing. I bet it will be fun to hunt with this winter.

That is a really neat boat and what a great job you did on it. I can see that boat getting a lot of use in the coming years. Congratulations on the fine job.
