NDR-lightweight table saw

Some of you may remember my trauma 5 years ago next month, were a tangled with a dado blade in my table saw. Cost me a duck season, may $$$, 2 months of work, and use of my left index finger. I sold the beast off a few years ago, with the intention of buying myself a SawStop. While I continue to look for a deal for a SawStop, and will likely get the job site version for easy of storage and moving, as I don't have a fixed shop set up.

In the meantime, I make due with my band saw, miter saw, and hand tools. I would like to have a small 10", light weight, throw in the back of the truck, table saw in the near term. I am looking for something off CL or Marketplace, and an looking for input on what make/model really is a low cost, light weight option. I don't intent to build fine cabinetry with it, just want something I can rip a small board with, maybe cut an angled rip. Plastic, and cast aluminum are what I am thinking.

I have a Ryobi 10" 15amp portable from HD.
I've ripped a lot of old 1x4, 2x6 & 2x8 PT with it, up to 12' long.
As long as I dont hit old nails and keep the blades sharp, it does all I need.
Hitting an older screw means new blade, I know this all to well!
But no damage to the saw itself so far.

I've been looking for something similar for awhile. I love my old Walker-Turner in the shop but wanted something for up at our camp. I need to do a bunch of patching on the cedar shingles and to rip the occasional trim board. Susan and I spied one just around the corner as we headed north a couple of days ago. The price was right - FREE - and it works! Plenty of plastic and aluminum - but both both fences and a push stick - and a better blade (sharper) than I have right now on my ~400 lb. cabinet saw. It needs some lubrication and the stand could use a bit of stiffening but will meet my "need" perfectly. The name is TRADESMAN. Made in China but sold through The REXON Group in SC.

Hope you have neighbors like mine!

I've had very good luck with my old Makita. Looks identical to this except the color mine is same green that the stand is. Not sure of the model number as it's currently in Rangeley. But very easy to move from location to location.

Troy, you find a 8 1/4" saw sufficient? I assume the lightweight saws are all direct drive, which reduces the depth of cut comparted to a belt driven saw. Realistically, any ripping I want to do will be no more than 1 3/4" I suppose.
