Aluminum sneakbox refreshing and dodger build

I found a aluminum box that was in a barn fire. Picked it up and started to refresh it some. Cut off the old aluminum dodge. Added some vinyl 1.5x3/4 ,made a frame. Ordered my first sewing machine and 1000d cordura and went to work. I am 6'3 so had to have it higher then I would like but fits my dog and think it will work out well for me. Here is a link to the test run , footage was taken from a drone to test the following feature.

I think it came out beautiful. Nice sewing work on the dodger, I really like it. All around you got yourself a little tank.

Nice looking rebuild. Don,t believe i,ve ever seen an aluminum BBSB style hull. NIce dodger work. Did very similar on an Old Town twin heron kayak that lab sits behind me. I,m 6'1" so its hard to get real low especially allowing for dog.

Thank you. I believe Jay kuhn made the boat one of his first ones because it doesn't have keel straps. When I talked to him if I remember right it's a devlin broadbill with a pointed bow for easier fabrication and a few other tweaks.

Very cool hull.
I am not 100% positive, but I think the build of this boat was documented here on the DHBP???
